3 Hour - Ceiling Radiation Damper
Folded Curtain Style Blade

The RD-8 ceiling radiation damper employs a folded curtain style blade for point-of-origin control of radiant heat in HVAC systems. The RD-8 is installed horizontally in the ceiling membrane of floor-ceiling or roof-ceiling assemblies with fire resistance ratings up to and including 3 hours.

Standard Construction

Frame: 22 ga. (0.85) galvanized steel.
Blades: Folded ceramic curtain.
Fire Closure Device: Fusible Link.
Fire Closure Temperature: 165^oF (75^oC).
Minimum Size: 4" x 4" (102 x 102)
Maximum Size: 24" x 24" (610 x 610)
